Dr. Heath was born in Weedpatch, California. He has worked as a manual laborer, mechanic, machinist, peace officer, engineer, pastor, builder and developer, educator, social services practitioner (CPS), professional musician and singer. Awarded American Legion Scholarship and is an award winning author. He has three surviving children: Daniel, Karen and Michael. The oldest daughter, Diana, was killed in a motorcycle accident.

Psychology, Professional Education, Library Science, English, German, History, Administration (K-12), Administration, Supervision of Vocational Education and Vocational Education-Trade and Industry.
In addition to his work in public education, Dr. Heath started three private schools, K-12, two in California and one in Colorado. His teaching and administrative experience covers every grade level and graduate school.
