Turning Nothing into Something
My name is Amelie and this story is about my pathetic life, and my attempt to turn it into something meaningful before I get old like my parents and have nothing to look forward to.
Amelie is a young teenager dealing with typical teenage life - family, friends, boys, bullies, and beliefs.
When her long time friendship with Casey becomes strained due to her misguided bullying of others, she realizes that she needs to make changes.
She realizes that she can't fix everything, but tough lessons will be learned and lives will be changed forever.
Ms. Vishnevsky knows all too well how bullying can tear apart a person's life and livelihood. She strives to reach out to others who are currently in pain, or those who have been immensely affected in the past and still suffering in some way.

Turning Nothing Into Something
The Devious Man
It was obvious to me from a very early age that females and males were not treated equally, and this was not something I ever accepted. Females are often portrayed as weak and in need of 'rescuing'. I wrote this book for all women to not only feel empowered, but to know with all their heart they can overcome any obstacles in their lives, no matter how much they may be hurting at the present time. Women should never put up with abuse or feel they deserve it.
Violence against women is a huge problem and needs to be addressed, and ultimately, conquered. Women need to feel strong, and draw on that strength, to stand up for what they believe in and never ever cower in some corner, afraid and terrified of the consequences of same. I believe anyone, male or female, will enjoy the twists and turns in this book, and come away with a better understanding of human nature.
